If you choose to enroll in Bill Pay, be sure to check your start date and make sure to turn off automatic payments for any existing bill once it is paid and your utility account balance is $0. This will also be explained in your Arcadia welcome email. We will start to bill you on or around the indicated start date. After that, your bill will be managed by Arcadia and there is no need to pay your utility directly going forward.
Any double payments for the same monthly charge will be credited to your utility account and will be applied to your next monthly statement.
To ensure that you are not paying twice for the same monthly utility charges in the future, you will need to unenroll from your utility’s autopay program. Also be sure to inform any other household members how Arcadia is managing the utility bills.
