What if I accidentally pay my utility directly?

If you choose to enroll in Auto-Pay (formerly Bill Pay), be sure to check your Arcadia billing start date and make sure to turn off automatic payments with your utility after any existing bill is paid. All of this will be explained in your Arcadia welcome email. We will start to bill you on or around the indicated start date. After that, your bill will be managed by Arcadia and there will be no need to pay your utility directly going forward. 

Double billed?

Any double payments for the same monthly charge will be credited to your utility account and will be applied to your next monthly statement.

To ensure that you are not paying twice for the same monthly utility charges, you will need to unenroll from your utility’s autopay program. Also be sure to inform any other household members how Arcadia is managing the utility bills.
